specialty software sales representative - tivoli
position summary and responsibilities:
advisory saels specilaists maintain in-depth skills in the specialty offerings, and are assgined to specialty specific opportnuities or territories where they possess the sales and technical expertise required to conduct all phases of the sales cycle. provides input to and implements sales action plans in the specialty offering set for the assigned territory.
understands the mission and vision of the unit in which assigned, and performs activities in support of them. recognizes opportunities to integrate other specialty offerings into a total solution.
recognizes problems and risk reltaed to activities or objectives of assigned work projects. or veteran status, color, national origin, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, disability, religion, gender identity or expression, age, gender, genetics, sexual orientation.and in other assigned activities,
applies creativity and judgment to solving cusotmer busniess problems, in designing and selilng soluitons.
communication/negotiation:
negotiates with team members to match specialty, and other offerings to customer business problems, articulating and comparing alternative approaches, to deisgn a total solution. defines acquisition alternatives which result in winning financial strategies. or to develop complementary adjustments or solutions, to enhance and improve them.
problem solving:
communicates new developments or announcements in the specialty to cleint relatoinship teams, ibm business parnters and to the customers within the assigned territory, members of other specialty teams.
maintains an understanding of sales procseses, techniques and tools in the specialty, and uses them appropriately.or is a member of a large team, or leads small teams of other profesisonals (such as sales specilaists, client relationship profesisonals, it specialists, ibm business partners) to design solutions for assigned customer opportunities,
