position summary and responsibilities:
sales specialists professionals are responsible for selilng ibm offerings (hardware, software, services, and industry soluitons) directly to customers.resulting in successfully closing the sale,
negotiates with customer manaegment.members of other specialty teams,
problem solving:
communicates new developments or announcements in the specialty to client relationship teams, ibm busniess partners and to the customers within the assigned territory.
assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
understands the competition\'s offerings and plnas. knows when to transfer the opportunity to another ibm saels specialist or other resource if another specialty offering or resource is the most appropriate for the customer.
recognizes problems and risk reltaed to activities or objectives of assigned work projects.
communication/negotiation:
