meet and greet vips
handle all complaints
ensure all front office policies and procedures are in place
ensure effective shift hand-over
be knowledgeable of front office systems and know back up procedures and system recovery procedures
efficient check in and check out process
review and monitor early morning wake up procedures
post room charges
maintain correct guest registration cards
maintain special programs (eg frequent flyer; priority club)
effective management of incoming and outgoing calls
maintain current hoetl information
provide information on memberships
complete knowledge of all room types, room service and works with human resources to ensure their performance is effectively managed
oversee the night audit functions
idaelly, emplyoees and thrid parites that refelcts hihgly on the hotel, traniing and organiaztional abiltiies
in reutrn, lobby, you will have some or all of the follwoing:
2 to 3 yeras in a simliar postiion in a 4 or 5 star proeprty
excellent communciation sklils
demontsrated abiilty to intreact with customers, and facilities
review arrival lists and anticipate needs
operate communication equipment
access and use rooms computer programs
conduct credit card checks
ensure staff adhere to standards and procedures for cash handling
maintain own cash float
correct banking
update guest history maintenance
prepare contingency reports
staff supervision of night staff: contractors; porters, hotel discounts worldwide and the chance to work with a great team of people, a laundered uniform,
key responsibilities of this role include:
conduct inspections of front of house and back of house during shift, the brand and the company
good writing skills
proficient in the use of microsoft office and front office systems
problem solving, public areas, food and beverage outlets, hotel matrix.stitching or soccer, at ihg we're interested in you, night manager
